I did not find anything offensive in the movie just the opposite. John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Joan Cusack and and adorable and talented little boy Bobby Coleman. The film is about a lonely science fiction writer who adopts a boy who thinks he is from Mars. This movie is about a parents persistence in his love for his child, in spite of the boy trying to isolate himself by is strand behavior and actions. "the movie is warm, funny and heartfelt story."
